Sometimes I wonder
What your life is like now
Do you regret what you did?
Would you take it back somehow?
Do you have children?
Do you have a wife?
Do you really love them?
Or is work still your life?
Do you live in the present?
The future? The past?
Are you as jaded as me?
Or do you think love can last?
I don't love you anymore
That's not what this is about
And I don't hate you anymore
Like I did when you walked out
It's just that every now and then
When riding in my car
I hear our silly little song
And wonder how you are
