Prompt # 2

What was she doing here? With him and like this, in his arms. They were both filthy and the air was as heavy as a blanket around them. Her breath was slow and even, and her lips were dry. It was just one kiss. That was all he wanted, one lousy kiss. It didn’t have to mean anything, and it didn’t have to change anything. In fact, she would make sure it didn’t change anything between them.

Her eyes locked with his, and her breath caught in her throat. It didn’t mean anything. Not one thing. Then why was she suddenly unable to breathe? Why did she feel as if she was falling into those eyes she was staring into? His mouth was moving, but she couldn’t hear the words.  She shook her head just slightly, trying to clear her head and focus, but she didn’t have the chance to do that before she felt his lips press against hers.

The kiss was hot and opened mouthed, tongues slicking together lewdly. Her breathing became harsher as the kiss continued on and on. Finally, she broke the kiss, her hands pushing against his chest, but with no real strength. Her hands rested there as their eyes remained locked. It seemed like forever, but it couldn’t have been more than a few moments. The trance was broken as she moved to get, wordlessly leaving him there to sit alone. It wasn’t supposed to change anything, but the way she felt right at this moment she knew it had changed something. Just how much of a change it was she didn’t know. Only time would tell.
